Don’t Forget About “ISUS!”

by Nadra Enzi, Contributing Writer

The nation is rightly alarmed – and alerted – by the intimate horror of a ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ terrorist attack in California. Its suddeness shocked middle America’s sense of safety.

As an inner city hostage fighting back against “ISUS ” (Hood-grown and launched terrorism), this shock is a longstanding fact of life. In the late 1980s, an urban insurgency began its death march through communities which never witnessed such destruction. I recall throwing myself to the floor one night as a deafening gun battle erupted in the undead corpse of a city where I grew up. This memory joins a combative collage of thug management break ups of urban nightclub fights, decades of bodycounts and scenes of Black people running after the word, “Gun!” is screamed.

Inner city hostages know sudden violence is the price paid for Hood-grown terrorist control our streets. Porches, playgrounds, parties, sidewalks and even homes are ISUS targets in neighborhoods far removed from presumptions of safety. Murder has even become the leading cause of death for juvenile male hostages.

ISUS isn’t content to only spill inner city blood. They also aim at pale and prosperous targets in White communities. This targeting ranges from Knockout games to a regular onslaught of robbery, burglary, carjacking, rape and homicide from coast-to-coast. The impact on race relations is an open sore few publically admit, but all acknowledge. That’s why I remind folks not to forget ISUS, a chocolate Klan terrorizing Hood and heartland while America stands guard against foreign terror!

Hood-grown terrorists haven’t declared a ceasefire simply because the spotlight is turned elsewhere. Just check your local news.

Republican Mayor Elected In Savannah

by Nadra Enzi, Contributing Writer

Challenger Eddie Deloach will be the next mayor of Savannah, GA., a majority Black and Democratic city along the coast. This fact alone merits national attention, given racial and partisan divides overcome. Crime and a crying need for leadership to address it wove together a most unlikely coalition.

After the honeymoon period ends will come a marriage of policy and probable protest which will test the strength of this unlikely coalition. Conservatives should study the Eddie Deloach victory because it shows how common concerns and shared values can create unity where none existed. Savannah will survive her season of crime and decline, but only if she unapologetically stands united.
