The phrase, “flame of liberty” popped into my head in the wake of a recent anti-conservative arson I experienced, while fighting two animals who call themselves anarchists.
That’s not important.
What is important is this flame isn’t merely the symbolic fire held aloft by the Statue of Liberty nor Independence Day patriotic pyrotechnics.
As an unexpected out pouring of concern in the wake of this incident showed, the flame of liberty is passion felt for American principles and concern demonstrated for those who espouse them.
This flame will always consume lesser fires promoting hatred and intimidation.
Things are bad but the flame of liberty burns even brighter than problems before us!
