The Flame of Liberty

by Cap Black

The phrase, “flame of liberty” popped into my head in the wake of a recent anti-conservative arson I experienced, while fighting two animals who call themselves anarchists.

That’s not important.

What is important is this flame isn’t merely the symbolic fire held aloft by the Statue of Liberty nor Independence Day patriotic pyrotechnics.

As an unexpected out pouring of concern in the wake of this incident showed, the flame of liberty is passion felt for American principles and concern demonstrated for those who espouse them.

This flame will always consume lesser fires promoting hatred and intimidation.

Things are bad but the flame of liberty burns even brighter than problems before us!

A Courageous Black Conservative Attacked …

One of the contributing writers to my website, Cap Black aka Nadra Enzi, was the victim of a racially-motivated attack in New Orleans last week. His attackers torched his belongings and sabotaged his laptop. Cap Black is a prolific writer who is widely published, but, for now, he is unable to post his blogs or access the Internet, only send texts via his cellphone.

Cap Black (“The Hood Conservative”) is one of our rare black conservative crusaders (seemingly – there are more standing up and speaking out in defense of our Constitution); he speaks to his community and others honestly and fearlessly. I’m one of many who feel he has great potential in reaching out to those who are hypnotized by ‘obama’s checkbook’ or deceived by this regime’s anti-American policies and beyond.

When I found a way to contact him this morning, he said:

“When racist anarchists used arson against me they lit the flame of liberty even brighter among my conservative family.”

If you wish to help a fellow conservative, personally, as well as help him get back into the fight for liberty and conservative values, please consider donating here: http://www.gofundme.com/197xk8?utm_medium=wdgt

Thank you!

Gosnell trial reveals “Life” to be the Civil Rights battle of a generation.

by Jim Davis

If the Gosnell murder trial has taught us anything, it’s taught us that abortion is to Democrats what the holocaust is to neo-nazis: “an acceptable level of inhumanity”. When one reads the testimonies of those who’ve worked in abortion mills, (there is now a Delaware Planned Parenthood abortion mill being reported as unsafe and dirty. Delaware Planned Parenthood Ruth Barnaby CEO denies the professional assessment that this mill endangers women with hepatitis. Of course she does, it’s what she gets paid to do *UPDATE: Barnaby announces abortion mill no longer performing abortions as a result of the conditions she earlier denied). It’s obvious that what happens in abortion mills is nothing short of a holocaust equal to, and surpassing the horrors of Auschwitz, Treblinka, or Ebensee. With testimonies of infants screaming in terror; and writhing in pain from the abortionist knife, these horrors and brutal assaults on their persons can, and should be classified as inhumane and monstrous beyond measurable levels of cruelty. This activity is exposed as legal terrorism on the most innocent of victims: children who are denied even their right to have their screams heard: until now.

The testimony of one witness says:

“ [she] was called back to a room at his abortion clinic in Philadelphia where the bodies of aborted babies were kept on a shelf to hear one screaming amid the bodies of aborted babies kept on a shelf…

“I can’t describe it. It sounded like a little alien,” West said, telling the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas judge and jury that the body of the child was about 18 to 24 inches long and was one of the largest babies she had seen delivered during abortion procedures at the Women’s Medical Society clinic…

West, who said she called aborted babies “specimens” because “it was easier to deal with mentally,” said a co-worker had called her back to the room that night because she did not know what to do. West said the baby’s eyes and mouth were not yet completely formed and it was lying on a glass tray on a shelf and she told the co-worker to call Gosnell and fled the room…

She later made it clear that she called it “a baby” in her testimony “because that is what it is.”

When faced with these descriptions in the past, the left has laughed at the compassion of the pro-life movement, (see Planned parenthood supporters mock abortion survivor) dismissing them as “emotionally charged” and a misrepresentation of the truth. The above quoted first-hand testimony confirms those cruelty charges, and what people have really known from the beginning: abortion, especially middle and late term abortions; viciously kills children who already have awareness and feel pain.

The Left’s defense has now changed from denying the humanity of the child, to the argument of Economics. In short, their half century of unrealistic philosophies has finally infringed their own budgets. This video shows a pro-choice woman justifying her destruction of pro-life signs based on the cost of, (to use her description) “crack babies”. Interesting how things ultimately come down to “the money” isn’t it?

We would remind the left that it is their policies that have aggrandized the Murphy Browns, the Sandra Flukes; and even excused the promiscuity of the late Ted Kennedy and the Bill Clintons of the world who have a proclivity for “spreading seed.” An official “We told you so” is due here. This argument directly mirrors that of the Nazi (and other Marxist) movements that justify the annihilation of undesirable peoples based on social sensitivities and convenience. Targeted have been those who are/were undesirable based on race, expediency, and bigotry. With black children suffering the most; and baby girls being aborted because of their gender: the comparison is accurate and valid.

A grassroots movement to defend the humanity of the unborn has already gained traction. In North Dakota, Governor Jack Dairymple recently signed into law the requirement to perform tests to determine if an infant’s heartbeat is detectable. The heartbeat negates the ability to abort the child unless the life of the mother is jeopardized. Additionally, gender-specific abortions are now illegal in that state. The law also requires that an abortionist be a medical doctor, and one who has privileges (they are qualified to practice medicine) in at least one North Dakota hospital. Arkansas law also recognizes the humanity of the unborn with its new law banning abortions after the first trimester of gestation of a child- also with an exception for endangerment of the mothers’ life. While Democrats Governor Mike Bebe vetoed the legislation, the state legislators were able to over-ride his veto with a super-majority of support for the law.

Just as rectitude and compassion compelled people to be outraged by the Holocaust, challenged the inhumanity of slavery, and the demand for equal application of the Constitution for black Americans in the past: the new Civil Rights issue of our generation is the humanization of these defenseless infants. The goal is to restore their unalienable right to Life, and allow them access to the liberty and pursuit of happiness observed by the founding documents.

Humanity demands it.

I Am a Bad American

by John Hanmer, guest blogger

I Am the Democratic Liberal-Progressive’s Worst Nightmare…

I am a White, Conservative, Tax-Paying, American Veteran, Gun Owning Biker. I work hard and long hours with my hands to earn a living.

I believe in God and the freedom of religion, but I don’t push it on others.

I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and drive American-made cars, and I believe in American products and buy them whenever I can.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some liberal governmental functionary, Democratic or Republican, that wants to share it with others who don’t work!

I’m in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn’t make you a killer; it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it!

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac or any other item, you should do it in English. I believe there should be no other language option.

My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and Willie G. Davidson, who makes the awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

I don’t hate the rich. I don’t pity the poor.

I know wrestling is fake and I don’t waste my time watching or arguing about it.

I’ve never owned a slave, nor was a slave. I haven’t burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks, and neither have you!

I believe if you don’t like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country!

This is AMERICA …We like it the way it is and more so the way it was …so stop trying to change it to look like Russia, China, Iran, or other socialist country! (And I would add that we don’t want it changed to look like an Islamic country with Sharia Law)

If you were born here and don’t like it you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you.

I believe it is time to really clean house. We need term limits for congress and line item veto power for the President!

I want to know which church is it, exactly, where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution.

Can I get an AMEN on that one?

I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you’re breaking the law, regardless of what color you are, but not just because you happen to ride a bike.

And, no, I don’t mind having my face shown on my driver’s license.
I think it’s good … And I’m proud that ‘God’ is written on my money.

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don’t want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making ‘donations’ to their cause…. Get a job and do your part to support yourself and your family!

I believe that it doesn’t take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents…

I believe ‘illegal’ is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA!

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I’m a BAD American.

American Dread …

~ by Clio

Why do so many Americans feel a sense of dread about the future? Why is interest in “prepping” rising (preparing oneself, family and home from some sort of devastation)? Why are many citizens investing in precious metals instead of the stock market?

There is a simple, yet uneasy answer to the above:

Americans no longer feel safe.

In the 1950s, Americans built bomb shelters, children practiced bomb drills at school in anticipation of the rising risk of attack by atomic and nuclear weapons. After the lessons of Pearl Harbor, Americans intended to be ready and able to protect their families.

Still, the country maintained an abiding faith and respect for the strength of our military and national leadership.

Today, our military strength is weakened due to cutbacks in troops and funding to pay for irresponsible government spending. Our nuclear defense is lessened due to Obama signing the START nuclear disarmament treaty with Russia to drastically cut our nuclear missiles by 30%. (Curiously, Obama banned most media from witnessing, allowing only a few still photographers to capture this significant event.)

Obama’s looming bureaucratic nightmare, obamacare, will, and already has begun to devastate industries, in particular, small businesses, and is currently causing layoffs or down-sizing of full-time to part-time employees to avoid tax penalties and the rising costs of employer provided health insurance.

Doctors are leaving their professions or taking early retirement due to this regime’s plan to destroy our medical system and economy.

The number of Americans enrolled in welfare and food stamp programs rose dramatically from the onset of Obama administration. Almost half the country is now receiving benefits from some sort of entitlement program. Clearly, Obama’s policies are intended to further the progressive/socialist creation of a nanny state – a national dependency on federal aid that will soon overwhelm available resources, “forcing” a future liberal administration to confiscate money. In fact, Obama is already pushing a concept that retirement tax benefits should only apply to the first $3,000,000, just another hidden tax increase.

The maligned ‘wealthy’ class (the Obama regime continues to broaden and redefine that term) is dumping stocks and some are pulling up stakes – homes and businesses – to move to more welcoming climes.

The Obama regime persists in its efforts to add trillions to our existing nation debt and still yearns for more spending and more taxes. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve is on an unchecked spree, printing billions of dollars each month which will eventually decimate the middle class Obama claims to be protecting.

Part of his ‘plan’ is to force financially successful citizens to pay their “fair share” – although nobody knows what that “fair share” is – an absurd premise given the hefty taxes most of the wealthy already pay to the government. Obama’s “fair share” aspirations serve to promulgate antagonism towards successful, wealthy Americans, the ones that provide capital through investment so new businesses can start-up, existing businesses can grow, and private sector jobs can be created.

Obama wants to inculcate his ideologies into all aspects of our daily lives. His regime’s tactics include race-baiting, intolerance, fear-mongering, creating towards Republicans by falsely accusing them of causing most of the catastrophic dangers we now face, and other tactics too numerous than can be noted in a single blog.

Obama’s policies are toxic to America. His attempts to invalidate the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution (the right to bear arms), change the definition of marriage, corrode our family and Judeo-Christian values are gaining some traction.

His use of Executive Orders to override Congress and the Will of the People are indicative of his utter disdain for the American way and stated intention to fundamentally change America.

This is no surprise; after all, he told us that was his plan from the start. However, ‘fundamental change’ is significantly different from ‘obliterate and recreate a new country.‘ This is not hyperbole: one day (and not in the distant future), we may awaken and not recognize our homeland.

… It is no wonder why Americans no longer feel safe within their homes, with their leadership and or in their country.

It Doesn’t Take A Village to Raise Black Kids!

by Cap Black

Sigh, some Black folks (it’s ok- I’m Black too) really take this “It takes a village to raise a child” stuff too far.

Recently, MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry famously said in this much quoted excerpt,

“…we’ve always had a private notion of children, your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven’t had a very collective notion of these are our children. So part of it is we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.”

Hmm, so when Thomas Jefferson (yes, I know he owned slaves) promoted universal public education for American youth, was this the act of someone with a “private notion of children?”

When people’s houses are held hostage by county property taxes which often fund local public schools, is this another instance of private notions of children?

Are local option sales tax increases to upgrade public school infrastructure signs that the public plays no substantive role in young lives, especially when every state and the federal government have departments of education toward this end?

20th Century visions of armed American troops and deputy US marshals fighting rabid mobs over public school desegregation dance through my mind’s eye as I type this.

A nation committed to a “private notion of children” would have spared itself such destabilizing drama and simply let educational Jim Crow stand until such time, if ever, that states wearied of it.

I find the good doctor’s perspective interesting since negation of parental control has dogged Black parents since our involuntary importation to these shores.

Slavery and Jim Crow aside, Dr Harris-Perry’s side of the aisle seems hell-bent on undermining Black parents by stripping them of school choice, an opportunity taken for granted by wealthier, often Whiter Americans; disarming them legislatively within Hoods over run by chocolate Klansmen; demonizing our use of corporal punishment and supporting a welfare system separating low income parents to keep benefits flowing and a popular culture/public education complex at war with values traditional parents try to raise their children to practice.

If this is what the 21st century “village” offers, Black parent’s only hope rests in taking a “private notion” of their children to its exponential limit.

Otherwise, today’s vile “village” will own their children body and soul.

I respectfully disagree with Dr. Harris-Perry and ask her to look no further than the ruins of New Orleans Black community as stark proof supporting my argument.

It doesn’t take a village to raise our kids – it takes united mothers and fathers raising them long before the rest of society enters the picture.
