Romney’s Five State Sweep Ushers in “A Better America”

“A Better America” began last night with Governor Mitt Romney’s five-state primary sweep, putting him closer to acquiring the 1144 delegates required for the Republican nomination. Romney’s current delegate tally is 844 (846 by some accounts). The next primaries are on May 8: Indiana (46 delegates), North Carolina (55) andWest Virginia (31). It is expected that Romney, the presumptive nominee, will garner the final 300 delegates in upcoming primaries , by the end of May.
