In Christianity, I was taught that the more grateful you are, the more you will receive that for which you are grateful.
America holds endless bounty for those who are thankful to have her—for those who respect and love her and are willing to work to preserve her. I believe that this is why America will survive its current challenges and hardships. There are enough of us praying and giving thanks to God for her, and He will reward us with an even better America than she was yesterday.
I am also thankful for my family, old friends, and the many new friends I have made over the past several months who share my love for this country.
My family and friends live far and wide across these great United States, where the beauty and flavor of those areas are reflected in the citizens who reside there. I have learned so much and received such joy from them all—city mice and country mice, mountain folk and coastal creatures, heartland natives and desert transplants. Each day brings something new and wonderful from my fellow conservative countrymen, and for this I thank you.
If being grateful for these special people and the extraordinary bounty that America provides will help me acquire more, then I say, “Bring it on, Lord!”
